The Miller Aborn house was built in 1773 and has had only four owners in 228 years. Located in the historic district known as “Old Town”, it is in the shadow of Abbot Hall. With Bassett Street a one way street and Nicholson Hill being a dead end street, there is very little traffic. The house has maintained many original features including wide pine floors, exposed beams and raised paneling. There are fireplaces in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The country style kitchen has a charm all of it’s own (breakfast nook, exposed beams and open shelving). Since the house is built into the side of a hill, the basement is very useable and gets good sunlight. The patio is brick and peastone. Shown by appointment.
